telekinesis has been suggested in the past to be possible, however I don’t think we will be able to do this without the use of technology, the device in the link I think is the first effort to allow the control of everyday things with our minds. However a Pro Kevin Warrick of Reading Uni once had tech surgically implanted into his body so he could control things in the building with his mind. Think of it this way if we can control computers now with tech what could we do in another 20 years.
I agree with Matt that any form of technology-based telekinesis (not a superpower or magic…) would probably be an extension of brain-computer interfaces that exist today.
There have been ‘brain caps’ made for paraplegics (people paralysed from the waist down) that allow them to control light switches and even play games (pong i think) on a computer using their thoughts alone.
