Question: Will time travel ever be possible some time in the futre?

There is a theory that says that time travel must be impossible because if people in the future could travel back in time, why have we not met anyone from the future yet? Surely if people from the year 3000 invented time travel and came back to the year 2000 we would have noticed? This is just a theory and it depends on how you define time.

Until we understand what time actually is, I dont think it will happen.
