• Question: when do you think your work will affect peoples lives? soon or far in the future?

      I hope that my work will make peoples experience of technology a more pleasurable thing to do, and to help people enjoy computers as much as I do! I hope that this will not be too far in the future. I also hope that my work can help protect our online societies.

      I think I’m on the primary research side of things, trying to highlight and characterise the issue of cyanide in the lung of patients rather than coming up with a solution (can’t come up with a solution unless you know the problem!). Hopefully though, my work will pave the way to making new drugs to help CF patients, but that will be in a distant future certainly, not now.
