      Cool question, I once found a pyritized coprolite.

      Basically a sparkly dinosaur poo!

      Pyrite is the mineral name for fool’s gold, during the fossilisation process the dinosaur droppings turned into pyrite, making it look golden and quite pretty. I like showing that fossil to kids, because as soon as I tell them it used to be poo, the first thing they do is sniff it!
