      the bacterium that causes the most death is Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

      viruses like Ebola and smallpox cause immediate horrible deaths (in the case of Ebola, liquefying organs causing you to bleed from eyes, ears mouth…)

      however, i think HIV is more deadly because it spreads more easily and is currently uncurable.
