• Question: If some snakes can produce venom that's lethal to humans how come it doesn't harm them being inside there bodies?

      This is a very cool question – I did a course on poisons many years ago. Snake venom is really cool stuff, it blocks the channels on cells stoping salt flowing in and out which disrupts muscle contraction. Snakes dont poison themselves by keeping the poison in a special sac which does not come into contact with any snake muscles which are susceptible to the poison.
