You have a little chamber in your ear that is filled with liquid. Your brain decides if you are spinning or not by sensing the amount of movement in this little chamber, using little hairs. When you spin the liquid spins around. When you stop spinning, the liquid in your ear keeps on spinning (just like what happens if you knock a glass of liquid) so your brain thinks you are still spinning around and you feel dizzy!
