• Question: how do animals fertilise?

      most of them have sex. Pure and simple. However for cattle and other live stock we artificially inseminate them. That way we can control (mostley) what the offspring will be like 🙂

      some lizards (like komodo dragons!) are able to do a think called parthenogenesis as well, where they basically make another lizard without the need of a mate! (only female lizards do this, when there aren’t enough males in the environment).
