I’m not sure what you mean by this but I’ll try and answer.

I like to travel and I love my science. Being a scientist means you can travel as well as undergo science. I have moved to Australia for two main reasons, one I’m still young and would like to experience living in another country for a while and two, Science funding in the UK at the moment (in my opinion) is feeling the pinch of the global recession. Australia has a good record of scientific research and so I decided to try and get into it over here. I don’t think you can focuss too much on either side. There isn’t a right or wrong answer and I think it is important to do what you feel will make you happy! My family live over here too, so for me it was almost like going home.
