• Question: Can you do research in your field that you study without technology?

      No not in my field, I need to have computers to do pretty much all of the research I do in computer science. There are some “theoretical” computer scientists who do not use computers to do their work, and they do lots of maths on whiteboards! I’m not as clever as they are.

      However, we all need computers to be able to tell each other about our work.
